A mellow day of cookery
Hey hi!
Last week's cook was a doozy, and by the end, I was super beat! I promised myself I would take it easy this week, but still treat myself right.
And, I delivered, if I do say so myself!
Here is what I've prepped this week!
- breakfasts: ham, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches
- lunches: miso-butter roasted salmon with radish and cucumber herb-y salad
- lunches: slow cooker pork posole
- snack: fruit salad with mint syrup
- snack: baby babkas (from the freezer!)
- dinners: broccoli chowder with monterey jack cheese

Total monies spent for the entire week of meals: $68.73 (not bad, considering I bought 2lb of salmon!)
Average monies: $9.82/day
It was a low-key day, and yet I have a fridge full of bounty for the week. Well-played, self!
