Prep in a hurry, then back to the couch!
Okay, so maybe I'm a little stopwatch-happy these days, but...
I put a clock on my prep this week because I really wanted it to be low maintenance so I could spend extra time with my dog after two weeks between days off. And I did it! Everything was done in three hours!
And tomorrow? Back to tech!
Here is what I've prepped this week!
- breakfasts: high protein waffles (no new post, but here's the post from a couple of weeks ago when last I made them.
- lunch/dinner: black bean soup with ham from the freezer, and today I pickled some red onions and bought some sour cream as well as an avocado that is quick-ripening in a paper bag as I type this
- lunch/dinner: sheet pan chicken thighs with mushrooms, lemons, and israeli couscous
- lunch/dinner: zucchini pasta bake
- snacks: everything smoothies
How much did I spend? Here are the grand totals (including the garnishes for the black bean soup):
Total monies spent for the entire week of meals: $67.19
Average monies: $9.59/day
