Mid-Week Bonus Sriracha Deviled Eggs
As I had hoped, I got home in time this evening to transform the hard-boiled eggs I had prepared on Saturday for snacks these next three days into one of my favorites: deviled eggs!
Planning!
Honestly, eggs are one of the most perfect foods on this planet. In the event that I had needed to work later this evening and not had the time to transform these from their plain hard-boiled state, I would have been perfectly happy. On their own, hard-boiled eggs are a great snack. They really only need a little salt and pepper to bring them home. I particularly love a sliced hard-boiled egg with Kalles Kaviar, but I'm trying not to alienate you, so let's move along...
The deviled egg is a whole other level of the hard-boiled egg, and superbly easy to make, with endless variations. Because I didn't plan to make these particular deviled eggs, only hoped that I wouldn't be too swamped tonight and would be able to perform this presto change-o, I didn't shop for any extra ingredients. Meaning? These are a Pantry Delight.
Here's the nutritional breakdown from Fitbit...
Nope. I'm logging these as eggs only. I barely used any light mayo, and the rest of the ingredients (sriracha, whole ground mustard, and salt are calorie-free). No Fitbit meal for these...

Cooking!
As you know, the hard-boiled eggs were done and peeled on Saturday. I pulled them out of the fridge, sliced them in half, popped out the yolks, and mashed those up with my ingredients, which I eyeballed and tasted. You get it. You know how to make deviled eggs. On with the pictures...
Okay, so maybe I licked the spoon and bowl clean after I stashed the containers back into the fridge. There are no witnesses. We'll never know for sure.
